If I could take it back
Ctrl z, ctrl y
Recently, my mom repainted a room 3 times before coming to terms with the fact that it looked better in its original colour—white.
"Sometimes I wish we had a ctrl z button in real life," she said, and I started thinking about it.
As a person who has spent hours and hours editing pictures in Photoshop over the years, I can't imagine doing it without an undo button. Having to start from scratch if I made a brush stroke too hard, dragged a curve in the wrong direction, or went too warm with the white balance would have been frustrating to the point of no return.
Although I'm not one to get mad at a spilled drink, a broken glass, or a wrong turn, I do wonder if the world would be a better place if we could undo a mistake immediately after making it; some sort of 10 second rule.
